VMX 2.02 (Or higher) INSTALLATION:

To install (or update) VMX the following steps are required:

1. Load VoiceAttack and turn VoiceAttack’s Plugin support OFF. Now close VoiceAttack.

2. Restart VoiceAttack, this time in Administrator mode and import VMX Player.vax file as you would a normal VoiceAttack (.vap) profile. When import is complete select the VMX Player profile and turn VA Plugin support back ON.

3. Restart VoiceAttack.

Done.

From now on you only need import the .vax file, updating will be taken care of for you. Also, note that G.L.I.D.E module will also be configured and updated for you automatically.

Troubleshooting Tip: If you are updating from VMX 2.02 or earlier, or after an update you experience strange behaviour such as file not found or VMX refuses to behave normally, we recommend the following steps to totally reset:  Delete the VMXPlayer (.vap) profile from within VoiceAttack, Close VoiceAttack, remove the VMXPlugins folder from VoiceAttack/Apps and also remove VMX_Player folder from VoiceAttack/Sounds. Finally, head to Windows AppData/Local folder and delete ‘audacious’ folder. Now repeat steps 1-3 as usual.

A reminder that EDDI is no longer required for running VMX, however as with pretty much any VoiceAttack profile, your EDDI profiles should run fine with VMX.
