VMX Player 2.0- Advanced audio and music system with platform exclusive content!
VMX Player 2 is the foundation of our modular audio and music system platform fit for the 34th century. It’s not just a music player though. VMX Player is a very unique and evolving platform featuring featuring Music Packs, Voice Expansions and ‘other things’ coming soon. VMX is therefore a content platform featuring fantastic exclusive content. Oh and of course, it goes without saying that you can control, organise and access your own music too.
to give you a taste of what VMX enabled Music Packs are truly capable of! VMX Player also comes with a free Demo Music Pack
Context Mode: Add in the EDDI plugin for VoiceAttack & VMX will automatically interface with it providing you a powerful context driven music system. The possibilities are mind blowing! free
Context driven Music Packs: Armed with a Music Pack, VMX Player really shows what it can do! A Music Pack contains game specific replacement soundtracks which can either be run as a voice controlled album or via context mode (game event driven music!). We have scored every single track to the game and put in a lot of effort to make the soundtrack really feel like it was destined to be the original soundtrack from the beginning.
VMX Mix Variants- Music Metamorphisis! Use voice commands to add, remove, replace instruments within a mix! Say ‘play key up’ to raise the key by 2 semi-tones or ask for ‘replace lead instrument’ and have VMX completely replace lead instrument(s) in a track. A mix variant can totally turn a track on its head and show incredible musical possibilities! You can choose whether to include variants in context mode soundtrack too. Every mix variant is changed on the fly too, so no waiting or messing about! It would be pretty insane if you could change mix variant whilst in context mode wouldn’t it? Well, we are… and you can!
Drag & drop your own playlists and have VMX Player sort them into ‘slots’ for you. You can name each slot or let VMX auto number them for you. Peek into any playlist with the ‘peek playlist <number>’ command and hear an audio clip of the playlist and audible readout of the album name. Play random playlists, shuffle tracks, have the playlists repeated etc etc. Insanely powerful playlists: You can even assign playlists to in game events if you wish to use them in context mode! Why not have your assigned playlist play whenever you ‘Dock’ or engage in ‘Combat’? Imagine coming home and docking to the sound of Queen’s ‘We are the Champions’ after that successful battle victory. We’re sure you can come up with some great playlist assignments!
Hybrid Audio Blocks 2: Perhaps the dark horse of the entire system! Audio Blocks is a unique system that effectively ‘builds’ music out of small chunks of audio. Audio Blocks 2 ( coming in VMX Player Update 2.1) play something different each time you fire it up. You can specify ‘light’ or ‘dark’ which will switch between a darker, more dirty, industrial path for Audio Blocks or ‘light’ which will present similar, but brighter, smoother, more pleasant soundscapes. You can even let VMX change them automatically based on in-game events! Which path will you choose?
Voice Expansions & TTS: Voice Expansions are a new way to extend the voice feedback capabilities of VMX and/or your Music Pack. Drag & drop in a Voice Expansion and have it provide a change of voice. You can of course collect multiple Voice Expansions and switch between them at your leisure. VMX 2 also features a TTS (Text To Speech) option, so if recorded voices are not your thing, then don’t use them! The ideal partner for use with VR: Voice control VMX Player whilst using VR for the ultimate music control! No fiddling around required.
And of course… Music Packs are licensed for your streaming use or within VODs (Video on Demand).
